If you already hold a valid U.S. Visa of the classification which is appropriate to your purpose of travel then you may not need to apply for a new U.S. visa, You are also not required to apply for sa new visa if you hold a passport eligible for travel under the Visa Waiver Program, or if you hold a Canadian passport.
In order to apply for a non-immigrant visa, Choose the visa type that applies to your situation, in next step you are required to fill DS 160 Form which is a non-immigrant Visa Electronic Application. Be sure that you fill DS-160 Form correctly and all the information should be accurate as once the form is submitted, you will not be able to make any changes. If you need help, please consult our immigration attorney. The US Consulate call centredoes not help you complete your DS-160. In the next step you have to visa pay. In order to pay visa fees, you have to create an account, your DS 160 Number is required here. Once visa fee is paid you will be ready to schedule your visa appointment.
You are required to schedule two appointments; one is for the Visa Application Center (VAC) where officer will take your fingerprints and photo and other one is for the visa interview at the Embassy or Consulate. The appointment for VAC must be at least 1 day before your visa interview appointment at the Embassy or Consulate. While scheduling interview three type of information is required, first is your passport number, then the visa application fee receipt number and the last is the ten (10) digit barcode number from your DS-160 confirmation page.
What all I am required to carry at the Visa Application Centre?
At the time of your Visa Application Centre appointment, you have to take a passport with validity dates at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the United States, DS-160 confirmation page and your appointment confirmation page. If the applicant is under 14 years of age you are required to carry one photograph as per U.S. visa specifications.

Who are not required to attend appointment at the VAC or Visa Interview?
Children under 14 years of age are not required to attend the appointment at the Visa Application Centre or visa interview at the Embassy/Consulate. Accompany/Guardians/Parents can carry the above documents.
